I recently installed the stage 2 cobb tune and now the car bogs after a launch or if i get on the gas hard out of the gate. Didnt happen with the stage 1 tune and i havent gone back to the stage 1 to see if thats the problem. Car has high flow cats and tubi exhaust.
Any input is much appreciated
Did you purchase from Sam ?...not likely as if you had you could log the situation and send it to him and he's trouble shoot it for you.....I bet he's still help you out tho...calling Guru Sam...calling Guru Sam
Mgz, feel free to reach out and I can try to help you figure it out. If you run the stage one program now will it do it? Is traction control on? Sometimes after an exhaust is out on something can be left loose or not installed properly and cause issues. Or there could be another factor. Definitely should not be doing that on any stage program.
Upload the stage 1 tune see what happens , if the same issue occurs then it’s something else recently changed check the exhaust and any sensors perhaps I’d assume a CHK light but the software may clear that error depending on what it is otherwise does it drive normal ?
Thank you ! I went through the exhaust and found that some of the cat bolts came loose. Also found that the foam seal around the air intake was was kind of chewed up so i replaced that and tightend all the bolts up and the car is incredibly fast with no issues. Big Thank you to Matty's world and Sam at Bydesign for reaching out.
