TTS Overheating Issues
Hey guys
Installed a awe tuning switchpath on a 991tts and since then have had an overheating message pop up twice. The first time was right after the install - pulled over immediately and put checked the overflow. It showed a little low so I added some bottled water. Everything seemed fine after, several drives had a consistent 192 degree temp.
Fast forward to today and another message popped up as I was pulling into my garage. I checked the resovior and it was at max.
I have an appointment on Thursday to have the issue looked at by porsche. Is this a common problem after putting on an exhaust. I don’t think this car has a change over valve and the only thing I can think of is since the car was lifted on jack stands for a few hours in the rear that maybe I created an air pocket in the coolant system.

Agreed - the exhaust swap, and lifting the rear for a long duration should not have anything to do with this issue, but the coolant messages only started popping up after the install.
Hope its just something like a pocket, or a bad reservoir and I can move on. Ill have it towed there just to be on the safe side. Soon as I hear from them I will let you guys know.

Just a quick update - ended up being a faulty coolant resivor sensor. Apparently there was a recall but my VIN was not in the affected range. Nonetheless it was replaced and no issues. The car wasn’t actually running hot it was just getting bad info from the sensor.
