Smile FS: 991 Turbo S Performance Parts: Kline Inconel, Tubi, Porsche Battery, Trofeo R,etc

I have a few performance parts for sale from my 991 Turbo S. Car is going on trade/sale or I may keep it as an occasional DD.

My price include shipping vs. New Price w/o shipping/handling/taxes.

If you want a group of items, we can chat about lower prices.

Payments via PayPal, shipping next business day via UPS Ground. You can pay in person and pick up the items (in South Florida).

#1 Pirelli Pzero N0 Front Tire 245/35/R20 with 7/32" tread depth for sale $140.00 (I had a flat in a front tire, bought 2 new PZero and kept this as a spare)

#2 Kline Inconel headers (SOLD)

#3 Kline Inconel Race Exhaust $4,800.00. This is the top exhaust made by Kline for the 991 Turbo, sounds better than any other exhaust, massive power gains, easy installation, a new one costs way over $9,000 https://rennlist.com/forums/for-sale...e-muffler.html

#4 Brand New Custom Race Suspension (ERP, HyperCo) $2,000.00 (close to $3,000 new) https://rennlist.com/forums/for-sale...ck-shocks.html

#5 Tubi Style Sport Exhaust with Sport Cats (SOLD)

#6 AWE Tuning Carbon Fiber Sealed Airbox $850.00 (a new box costs $1,600.00 + shipping) https://rennlist.com/forums/for-sale...ed-intake.html

#7 Pirelli Trofeo R 20" 245/35R20 and 305/30R20 2 track sessions at PBIR with less than 20 minutes. Not used ever since. $1,200. A set of these tires costs over $2,500. I set my best lap at PBIR (1:23) on these tires, a week before on similar conditions, my C7 Z06 on MPSC-2ZP ran 1:27 in 2 track sessions.

#8 Porsche Lithium OEM Battery. Only charged with a Lithium battery charger from Porsche, perfect conditions. I have 2 of these batteries, selling one and keeping the other. $1200. New Price was in excess of $3,000. Follow Porsche care instructions. Reduces car's weight by almost 50 lbs. This battery has a circuit to protect it from undercharge/overcharge, it beeps when getting low on reserve so you can connect a trickle charger.

My 991 Turbo S with the inconel system, battery and 19" forged wheels weighed 3,380 lbs on certified computer scales. I have seen 991 GT3 being weighed at race shops at more than 3,330 lbs.

Did you ever dyno your car with all the improvements installed?

Nope, no Dyno, but all the pieces came with a custom PDK/ECU Cobb Accessport by Sam at ByDesign.

I did do plenty of 0-60 runs, best ones (many) in the 2.4 seconds range on street pavement and hot/humid conditions, 0-100 in 5.4-5.6s range, so the car gained over 140hp (compared to the stock 560hp) to achieve this kind of numbers. 60ft times of 1.5 secs on street pavement (not prepared dragways), no car can touch a tuned 991 Turbo S on street pavement from a stop.

Interested in the battery. questions:

1. Does it need any 'coding' at the dealer
2. What's the standard maintenance driving the car on weekends for example? Does it need to be on a charger?

No coding needed. Indeed, I have used it in my 2007 Cayman S, 2015 Turbo S and one is in my 991 GT3 RS right now, the other one is loose.

I keep my cars on the Battery tenders (I have 2 of the Porsche ones). This is not a battery I would use on my daily driver, as it doesn't have the capacity (long reserve) of a 50-70 lbs Lead-Acid battery (AGM) but again, when I do a track day or an event where I care about lap times, I don't want the extra weight. The 991 Turbo S has a lot of parasitic loads when not running. I tested the battery in the 991 Turbo S, and after 7 days (no battery tender) it started beeping asking for a charge. In the 991 GT3 RS it took 9 days to beep. This is a test I did to find out how long can the car be away from the battery tender.

I would not risk putting a non-Porsche (shorai, lithiumpros, etc.) lithium battery, they are not made the same, and the chances of those aftermarket batteries catching fire is something I would not take with my 991s, especially with the fuel tank sitting below the battery tray, and the cars inside the garage.

Exact weight difference is 47.3 lbs.

The Porsche Lithium battery I have for sale weighs 11.3 lbs.

The battery in my 991 Turbo S weighs: 58.6 lbs

If you take your car to the Porsche dealer, they can reprogram the system for this battery (or any lithium) and it can last a month between trickle charges. The weight savings is massive, and high up in the front of the car.

This is awesome information!!! Thanks.

I guess that PIWIS programming for Lithium battery shutdowns the GPS transmitting car's location in real time even when not driven, big battery draining feature.
