I meant what I said in that it should have been my first mod to the car!

Very interested in this mod for my 991.1 TTS. Any feedback on long term use, issues, any problems with dealer service and issues of dealer overwriting, any info appreciated.

Nope, the thing works great, and the dealer software does not touch it. Over several service visits, they tried to see if it showed up in their diagnostic system with no results. It's not engine related, so it wouldn't be cause for concern regarding warranty either.

Thanks Randy. I'm going to order as it seems like a real transformation mod.

Please contact us for these DSC sport controllers!

We have a batch order being finished by DSC mid December. These won't stay on the shelves!

Have one unspoken for controller for 991 models for this coming batch. We can always order more though.

If you go to DSC website - there is an installation guide for cabrios..

Just ordered it! Can't wait!

So the two standard configs are "softer" in normal mode and more "aggressive" in sport/sport plus mode? the PDCC button remains for the same purpose as before right? The sway bars.

Thanks guys!

Yes - the DSC V3 has two modes - normal and sport - and they are selected using the PDCC button. The DSC V3 doesn't affect the sway bars but it does work in conjunction with them. It DOES control the shock damping and also the motor mount stiffness. The DSC normal mode is softer than stock, as is the sport mode - but both modes can become stiffer than stock if conditions require so you get a softer ride much of the time without giving up the stiffness desired when it's needed.

But you do have to push the button on the console now as it is not tied to the Sport Plus **** after installing DSC.

For anybody catching the tail end of this thread, let me reiterate that some cars take issue with the DSC V3 with FAL and/or sunroofs. Most all of this has been worked out by TPC Racing, but do call Tom and discuss before you buy. The installation is tool-free, and you will spend most of your time trying to get the connections unplugged by hand. Be patient, and you will be rewarded.

Thanks for the tip Randy, I'll give Tom a call as I have a Cabrio with FAL. From all reviews the DSC seems to work great on the Porsches.
I also got a DSC unit for my '16 Viper and I cant really feel a difference from the OE controller on that car. Bruce H, also on this forum, with lots of experience on track, also tried it on his similar Viper TA at the track and we could not feel the improvement, so I think Vipers need the full Tractive shocks to really see the benefits, but Porshes are good with just the DSC controller.

Yes, you need some strong fingers to get that OEM connector off the stock controller box! But so long as you undo the clips, it WILL come off. It's very tight from the factory, and you have to contort yourself a bit to fit yourself in behind the front seats if you're a big person.
