As others stated the N1 on RS which has been available since introduction of RS is different beast than the N1 on new 991.2 GT3. I had the chance to try the RS N1 tires last year on wet roads and as others stated their wet grip is astonishing. The word is, the new N1 for new GT3 has significantly better grip on the dry and is evident by the amazing Nurburgring time of new GT3, which in my opinion is mostly due to the enhanced dry grip of the new tire. However they also claim the new N1 tire is also better in the wet, but the question is by how much, and is it as good as the RS N1 tire on wet roads. I am looking forward to try these new tires and I am hoping they are similar to what I experienced while driving the RS on the wet. Hope this helps. Mark

Doesn't make sense to me that N1 for .2 GT3 wouldn't be at least as good in dry and wet as the N1 for the RS - unless a different choice was made in the tradeoff of performance vs longevity. For track use, cost of tires needs to be compared on a per day, hour, or session basis, not absolute cost.

New N1 on .2 GT3 is not the same as N1 on RS. .2 GT3 spec N1 has more wet grip and apparently way more dry grip. Willing to bet you put that new tire on a .1 GT3 and things become a lot tighter with newer car.

I inquired about getting a set for my .1 GT3 this past week and was told the new N1 will not be available until December at the earliest stateside. Tirerack told me they expect their first shipment in Feb. My new set of N0s will have to tide me over.

If you have some connections, you may be able to get them sooner in the US.

Once I will try it on local track, where everything is familiar, including lap times, I will see a real difference (if any). May take a month from now till I'll go there. But maybe I'll be tempted to make it sooner.

No difference that I could possibly feel. At least on dry surface.
I would say it's impossible for average Joe to get any lap time improvement over N0 on dry track.
