Default 2018 GT3 front axle lift system

I currently do not have the front axle lift system in my GT3 configuration. I do not know if it will be too low for daily driving.

Any feedback?

I have the front axle lift currently and I daily drive + track days. Not absolutely necessary but I will order it again. I need it rarely but its nice to know I have it and it allows me to take an incline or decline without scraping in tight quarters when there are other cars aound and I can't achieve a more favorable angle.

If you will be driving around town frequently I would just get it even in a stripper configuration. If the car will only be used for tracking I would skip.

if you trailer to the track it might help depending your angle.

I would definitively order again.

It also allows you to lower the car and still have it be drivable around town.

I'm potentially buying a new home, which may have steeper driveway so front lift is a must. I think it's a good idea regardless, from a resell perspective even. I know too many people who would not buy a GT3 without front axle lifts.

I replaced the buckets with 18-way, took the savings and dump towards the front axle lift. Loved the idea of bucket seats, but I love practicality more...

I had FL on 991.1 GT3 so I ordered it on the GT3 RS too. It worked fine on the GT3 but had an issue with it on the RS (that was fixed under warranty). I hardly ever used it for practicality as the clearance on even the RS was not bad for where I live and drive. I didn't order it on the 991.2 GT3 as I was sure I wasn't going to miss it.

It adds 16lbs to the car if I'm not mistaken. Something to consider if you dont really need it.
Never had it and never missed it but it really depends on your driveway I guess...

I have it and never used it. Most places I can just angle my approach more and it's enough.

I had it on my 991 GT3 and used it sparingly. The GT4 does not come with a lift and have never needed it.

Wondering how much lower is the .2 GT3 than a GT4

I have to use mine all the time. Very glad I have it and would never purchase one without it. GT3 has a long front with little clearance.

For those who never used the lift, do guys leave your car ride height where the stock set it all the time? My buddies have GT4s, they barely made it up my driveway with factory ride height. If they lower it by just 5mm, it would scrape.

I think this is one of those, better have and not need it rather than need it and not have it. There are some brutal unexpected speed bumps in some parking lots and there's no going around them.

How fast does it raise, at what speed and how long does it stay raised? I didn't have it on my .1 but for now ordered it on my .2. I have until June 20th to decide.

Yes. I ain't got one and it's always a major PITA to load and unload my car to/from trailer.

100% a must for me here in Chicago. I don't think I would have bumpers if I didn't have it. Plus, if you ever sell the car down the road, future buyers might want it.
