The trick to those Canyons is narrow car. More road to car ratio. And the older the car the faster it feels. I was doing 100. In my head. I suspect you may have been taking a nap between corners.

Dinner was quite good. Massive steaks family style and lots of snacks was a great call. Glad we had meat eaters that all like med rare.

At some point, chasing the latest and fastest and greatest just gets old. That's never been my personality anyway.
The new cars are fun. The old cars, they have personality.
And it's odd, you get in the old thing and it fits like a glove, everything just right. And they are just fun. Not fast, but fast enough.
I enjoy driving on the track immensely, but also driving canyons and non-trendy/suit/no-sock loafer social gatherings. (mooty knows what I'm referring to)

Peter I think if you lived someplace with some elevation you'd have an old stinker again in the garage too.

My eternal debate is what's next, not impulsive, cars have to speak to me. Those 964 3.8 RS SCREAMED at me today lol. 991.2 GT could be it for a modern track toy to compliment my water and air cooled toys. We'll see.

964 3.8 RS screams at everybody. That's why they went north of mil years ago. Too bad they didn't make more. Why does that sound familiar.....?

I am getting an interest in heading to the older cars too. would really like a late 80's targa or coupe. Would LOVE a ruby star 964 RS but not in my budget. LOL

Go away Mooty! LOL. I will likely call you one day when I am ready to pull the trigger. Not quite there yet. Thanks though even if you are a really bad influence.
