Thanks for dragging me along today guys.
Perfect day. Minus self-crashing bike, lol.

Weirdest prize of day goes to dude on mini tractor who blocked passes F1-style. :-)

mooty:
- Congrats on getting back on the bike - but OUCH that looks like it hurt!
- nice pair of NSX. I believe you qualify as a hoarder (In a good way)
- lovely Mother’s Day brunch. Please share which knife is pictured - looks like exactly what I need in my (kitchen) toolbox

I picked up MRSA in a hospital in Okinawa in 2002, nearly lost my thumb. That stuff is no joke as you know. Glad your knee closed up. I bet it was packed full of stuff to help it drain while infected. Looks good now.

PR on pagemill made me pretty happy. it was hard earned after 9 weeks off bike and got back on mid march cause for celebration. was in a major hurry to terun pizza

all is well and of all places , my bike decided to crash (oh it’s not me it’s the bike lol) on el camino real (it’s totally flat)…. and STRAIGHT needs special skills to crash like that. bang I hit the deck hard. GUYS WEAR UR FKG HELMET
Don't post much in this thread but I enjoy reading the adventures.

The pictures above appear to be mostly of road rash, I am sure it hurts. Pro tip here, a great way to reduce the pain of road rash is to offset it with something like a broken bone. My pain offset has been a broken clavicle, really dulls any feeling of road rash, highly recommended.

Sorry to hear about the crash, not fun, hope bike isn't too scratched.

Kevin

A nice Cabernet always works for me for dulling the pain of a bike crash...

u are right. they left about ¾" of the surgical site unclosed and wife was brave enough to drain it with gauze (those who don't know what that means, you STUFF gauze into open wound while you scream loudly), 2x a day for 2 weeks.
6 weeks later I was on bike again. that surprised my surgeon, who is also a cyclist.
