The suspension design is also a standout. It does the dual-purpose trick of firm and controlled cornering, with a supple ride over bumps, better than anything else I've driven.

I've test driven a model S as well. That was a dull car, but an impressive gadget. As a driving experience, there is no comparison with the Taycan. Also, if you haven't seen, here's how the performance over several quarter mile runs compares between the two. The engineering of the thermal management on the Taycan is light years ahead of the Model S.

Also, in a real world test of range, it's quite comparable with the Tesla, so there's only a small hit for much better performance (.99 skidpad vs. .92, 16.5 inch front brakes vs. 14.0 inch front brakes)

And keeping their rep for highest margins in the business. Thank you generous Porsche customers.

New bike day!

Shortened test ride (everything always takes longer than I think to sort out..) but got out there and yeah that glorious new bike vibe is hard to beat..

California being very California also pretty hard to beat.

Dinner tonight hopefully won’t get me banned from Tour DeMooty:

next up: acquire turkey baster and a bottle of brake fluid from Walmart to try and fix the clutch pedal in the s2k so I can go for a drive on Skyline!
