Switched my midnight ride from Porsches to Defender this evening.

The speed limit seems fast, 10 over is near terrifying in turns. I am not sure how I four wheel slid this thing around when I was younger ....

I think the BFG all terrain tires are over a decade old, they still look new with no cracking and I never have to add air, it’s on Old Man Emu heavy duty suspension which was on it when I bought it the first time in 2003, footwells are gone, but she’s a great truck and she sounds really good with the borla exhaust on the V8.

Good effort up OLH! I road up Saturday in 23:36 -- so a full 1:20 slower than you and that was at 270W so your 302W sounds right to me. Cracking 300W for over 20 minutes is solid!

Just finished the National MS Society's "Bike MS" event. Two days of riding. 100mi the first and 62 the second. Not a ton of climbing but the pace was spicy and plenty of tenderness in the legs this morning.

Two eggs is amateur hour. Six (barn chickens) eggs with stinky, fatty French brie for 2pm “breakfast”:

No mushroom, but not a bad idea.

Love this.

Left or right is a tough choice.
