I thought I would revive this thread because I am in kind of the same boat as the OP. I'm trying to figure out which car to get rid of to make room for a .2 GT3...
'98 993 S: 2nd owner, 90,xxx miles, last of the air cooled, etc
'15 981 GTS: Spec'd it the way I wanted it, 3,000 miles, last of the 6-cylinder NA mid-engine cars
'11 997 GT3 RS 4.0: enough said
OP and others, please advise.

clearly NOT EVER the 4.0L GT3RS!!!! - C L E A R L Y N E V E R O K?
as to which of the other 2, your pick, I'd probably sell the C2S, a great car (and my 1st 911) but I'd probably keep the GTS, I doubt the C2S is THAT
special that it will appreciate significantly (nor will the GTS ... but its newer
and thus more reliable, and you specc'ed it yourself)

The 993 is a neat car, and it continues to appreciate. The GTS is a nice car to drive and beautiful to look at. I have paralysis by analysis.

Keep: GT3 RS 4.0 (no brainer); 993S
Sell: 981 GTS
I actually have a similar "dilemma": 996 GT3 (MK1; original Clubsport); 993 targa; Boxster Spyder 987. Whenever I take one of them for a ride, I swear I going to keep it...
! This week, I again test them back-to-back.Cheers,
