Had and liked the white gauges on my 997 and 987, but not on 991 models as I hate how unbalanced colored gauges look with only 4 out of 5 gauges being colored next to the uncolored electronic TFT screen.

Porsche needs to make the digital gauge flip to white background, colored readings to make it work (and that would be easy to do).
In my 991.1 GT3, I have the standard gauges, and that's exactly what I would get again
I'm starting to warm up to the idea of white gauges, but I really like the black tach in my C2S. Didn't care for the gray in my Caymans. Wish you could spec the black tach. Looks old school, like my old 78SC.
What color are the red gauges at night illumination?

Perhaps someone who currently has red gauges could post a night picture? I had a 997 C2S with red gauges, and they looked black at night under illumination.
I will glance at the TFT screen on straights to check oil & coolant temp. Otherwise, I couldn't even tell you what color my gauges are.
Ditto with a variation.
The only two screens I look at is oil and water temperature screen and occasionally the tyre pressure screen. I disable all the other screens so I can quickly flick between the two. Rarely ever look at the dials so colour is irrelevant on the track.
