from woodside road, you will get blockage before you hit skyline.
take pagemilll up to skyline, right turn on skyline
then left on 84 toward PCH

better yet, start early, south on 17, then up the coast to Pescadero road, east on Pescadero to 84, east on 84 to Skyline, north on Skyline to 92, 92 west to the 1, 1 south to 84 again, 84 back east to skyline, skyline south to 9, 9 east to 85, 85 north to 280, 280 north to the city.
