what's taking soooo long... I was here two hours ago and it's still not done! I'm running out of popcorn - quit being a tease - we want to see more parts out!

The manual is a super closely related cousin of the PDK, all made by ZF Sachs. This was the reason why we partnered with Guard Transmission to make the LSD for the PDK race & street cars; it also works in all 991s with PDK or 7-spd manual. Getrag still makes the Cayman/Boxster transmission. The Aisin boxes weren't bad. They all lasted longer than the 996 C2 Getrag boxes when endurance raced.

From: Somewhere in a galaxy far, far away....
When I first heard a whisper of this idea I thought it was overkill for an already good car.
However, given the initial global cry for a manual 991RS combined with the OP's lust for manual RS Porsches it actually begins to makes sense.
In theory, all the factory parts required exist and are available. So it is not that crazy of an idea the more one thinks about it...
Having the right shop for the job is important as the attention to detail and maintaining a factory appearance is very important for a car of this calliber.
A great asset for a build like this is knowledge of the modern DFI/PDK systems and a willingness/enthusiasm to explore unchartered waters.
BGB has many years of experience with DFI engines/PDK swaps and I can see this being right up their alley.
This is why I race my GT4CS with BGB. They have a solid background in this field and as a bonus they are a great group of people. A real pleasure to deal with.
Kudos to the OP for being the first to pioneer such a project! I have no doubt it will turn out awesome and be the talk of the town!
My two cents would be to install some funky cool tartan inserts in the LWB seats to completement the Lava Orange exterior paint and interior stitching.
Truely one of a kind car!
