Are you a 'Pollo Loco' kind of guy?

No, that only fits a Ford. I need
something much lower that could

Jo_ker's in Austria.

I must admit I made a mistake by
not insisting the Chevy guy throw
in the ladder into the 'deal'! I do not
know the physics involved but that
ladder on top made everyone scared
to take me on stop-light drag races
on my test drive! They must have
known something I don't about how
that ladder works re: the aerodynamics
of the station wagon because they
would NOT challenge me with it on
top! Now, without it, even gutless
wonders like the Mitsubishi i-MiEV
want to take me on! Go figure!

Default 'Liquid Metal'...

Let's talk 'Silver' for a start. I'll just
let you be the judge. One of these
photos is an approx. $63k 'Liquid
Metal Silver' option and the others
were standard (no cost I believe)
metallic silver paints options ('GT
Silver' & 'Rhodium Silver') on the
918:

Here were the paint choices on the 918 Spyder:

***
When you add 'Chrome Blue' to 'Liquid Metal',
you are now talking a different color with a
distinctive 'blau' hue. That metallic color has
no equivalent in the regular Porsche offerings
at present. But think 'Ice Blue Metallic' in the
PTS offerings as something that might offer
you a clue:

I have explained the expense & complexity
of the 'Liquid Metal' paint process for the
918 before:

It's all just idle talk since Porsche does not
offer, to my knowledge, either 'Liquid Metal
Silver' nor 'Liquid Metal Chrome Blue' on any
current model, even via PTS. Unless your last
name happens to be Seinfeld!
