Halo and hans - leaving nothing on the table. Next RS will be a monster.

Now if only we could get the alignment settings....

Actually I don't know but for some reason seems that all "factory's" test cars have BB or LB plates.

This is quite common for factory laptimes, to increase safety for the driver.

Impressive time! Please remember though the track has become faster during recent years, even during last winter, and the tires have become faster as well.

For comparison, AMG GTR 7.11 lap was made with Michelin Cup2 "special spec" tires that cost 3950 EUR a set....Not with the ordinary Cup2s that are the OEM spec tires for that car. Mercedes themselves has been quiet about it (no mentioning about special spec tires as an option in the catalogs), but Sport Auto mag who made the test revealed that. Manufacturers do whatever to get a quick ring time it seems...

1 race seat instead of 2 lwb seats means at least 30 kilos weight saving...it makes a difference in lap time

What sort of math is that? The passenger LWB is there, the new seat weights less than the LWB, but not that less, so it's balanced, would say 3-5 kilos max. 30kilos would be if it was the sofas, not the LWB.

Not surprising in the least. The 991.2s are very well sorted across the board. The 991.2S and GTS are right there with th 991.1 GT3s in most metrics. It's not just the engine.

Halo seat and alignments, sub 26psi cuicuit setting and oil warnings only when a Liter is in play would be like my Birthday and Christmas all rolled in one..
