I thought the same thing.

That never came up. All we know is that the board had approved it.

It sounds like "it" was approved in advance and the meeting was the discussion and confirmation.

Boards take time to make decisions once finance, operations and marketing give their input.

Must say I am surprised they rolled over so quick with "something" (with details still to be revealed), but makes sense now.

VW Diesegate, Nick Murray, Beige Dash settlement, cars at port with emissions, tbd Porsche emission issues, looming .1 GT3 engine issues, etc .... Caught them at a perfect time. LAST THING they need is another PR tornado of any kind. I think they've been humbled somewhat and playing it safe here. At the end of the day, watching out for themselves before anything else. Otherwise, they could have voluntarily addressed the issue.

I really thought they would deny and play hardball a bit more when this all got started, hence my more aggressive approach suggestion.

Have to give credit to where it's due to Rob and the rest of the clan for pursuing this At this point, I'll take the "teasers" that it's significant. If the group thinks so, must be worthwhile. Once again, thumbs up guys.

The RL community delivers something historic outside of the more pressing ADM, stealership, what will hold value best, and PTS jackpot threads.

One last note, much props have to go out to the shop who has researched this issue and has documented it very well on the forum. To top it off, coming up with a fix for it as well. Their "hard evidence" is hard to dispute and was probably the main reason for pushing this forward.

I would never describe what happened at our meeting as "Porsche rolling over." That is a really cynical way of looking at this. A more accurate description would be that we raised our hands, and Porsche looked into our concerns. They found out that our concerns were valid, and then did their best to rectify the situation.

And we believe they did.

I would strongly argue they've been well aware of the concerns before anyone on this forum ever was. Anyway, all in the past now. Pat yourself on the back and have a drink. All I have to say on the subject. Goodnight.

Alright! Thanks for the kind words. We all appreciate it. But how about a warning before posting something like that photo! LOL

FYI: We will be creating a new thread, which will include details of our meeting, combined with Porsche's announcement.
