Is AP assuring us that the GT3 will remain NA, warming us up to a future change to turbo, or just stating facts.

Seems to be a bit of obfuscating going on but does lend further credence to why 991 Cup never got the first gen DFI GT3 motor....

I liked where he talked about the street cars being used to test for the race side.

Haha yeah when I read that I thought of the big 991 GT3 engine thread and the changes to the 991.2.

Street cars to race cars and then back to street cars. Makes sense, actually.

991.1 owners are just beta testers. Great way to pay for RD and do some testing.

As he said, you just can't get the same level of testing on the track. Different, but not the same level.

On the track you don't get that abuse of letting the car sit in the garage for weeks, then driven only to C&C every month.

Yeah, hard to simulate that when you have schedules to meet.

On track they fill with proper 100 octane not that rubbish

On track they warm and cool engine brakes trasmission

Thus to build an unbreakable engine a thousand of such a kind of C&C buyers are better than any car manufacter test

Seems like Porsche solidified that by keeping the NA in the RSR. Unless forced, I don't see why they would change the formula.
