For anyone considering the Corvette Grandsport, then the 2018 Camaro ZL1 1LE should be in the mix.

And, no, unlike the C7 Z06, which it shares an identical powerplant with, apparently this Camaro comes with no less than 11 radiators.

And for those keeping track of these things, 6MT only.

Sure they will! The first one is a dump truck sitting position, with plastics from your favorite F150.
The second one is no comment.
3rd...oh well...
4th...it will buff right out!
5th is your latest Malibu interior...crammed,but not too crammed...

I went to look at an early production C7 and it was so badly painted and bolted together that I would not have accepted delivery had it been my car.
But some of the Mustangs have the same problem. After the dealers align everything it looks OK, but nothing like a Porsche, never mind a Lexus.. Hell even a Camry.

Agreed- those 918 steering wheels and carbon bucket seats look terrible.

Man, these are the first-world problems we all face in SF. I used to rent two additional garages, but one was in Sunset (20 min trip from where I live) and the other was a shady verbal deal with a neighbor who one day started raising the rent from 250 to 375, so I admitted defeat, sold all but two cars and now I park the darling GT4 in the "car pocket" (some would call it a garage, but it's so small it's more like a pocket) and the 911 on the street. And of course a reckless neighbor drives up _onto_ the 911 while parked with her massive mom-SUV and it's now in the shop for a new hood, front "bumper" and new windscreen.

Okay, sorry for the bitchin'

Re 991.2 GT3, I am as confused as everyone else and ended up placing the deposit and submitting my order, but will keep the GT4 until I've had a chance to actually drive and try the GT3.2 — first then can I make a choice between what to keep.

Truly, truly love the GT4, but do miss the engine of the GT3.1.

For 100K or less i'm taking in this order:

Boxster Spyder
997 GT3 variant
350R
GT4

Spyder is perfect. An all-time enjoyable car if properly equipped.

997 GT3 is the strongest manual gearbox Porsche ever made. Great noise and no guilt to throw BBI/ Sharky/ Etc On it for full ludicrous noise.

350R is...well some guys like them thick women

Gt4 needs a lot of work to be a track car. Sounds great, shifts great, steering is good, weird tire issues.

How so? I've put mine through lots of track days without any issues. (Stock wheels, suspension and geometry.)

C J,

Agree 100% with you on the Spyder being 'perfect'.

I drove the GT4 for almost a year and it started getting slow, the exhaust note was not great even with windows down and then I sold it and bought the perfect Boxster Spyder. Top down I think it feels much faster, the exhaust note is simply heavenly and it is so much fun to just throw around on the road.
For the track, the 991.1 GT3RS is just perfect! I would skip the 991.2 GT3 and wait for the 991.2 GT3RS or GT4RS.

When you have kids you'll move to Kentfield, so you'll have a bigger garage anyway.
