Absolutely love that Olive Green and sunroof delete. If you have a GoPro or some other similar in car camera please post some videos. Would love to see this in action.

Congrats, Michael -stunning Ruf & I look forward to the possibility of seeing it at one of the events around metro Detroit this summer... The color looks a lot more like Leaf Green to me than Olive, but pictures don't always depict accuracy.
That tint will certainly keep the secret collector safe!
I remember being told by Hans that he could modify a 997 with all Manthey parts FAR cheaper than doing with Ruf parts.... I think that RAC were bound & needed freedom.
It was very unfortunate that Alois decided to trust the idiots in Southfield with his brand.

There is a lot more to the dallas situation and the distribution of RUF than I'm willing to discuss. I was a customer there since 2003. I have driven many of the RUF cars and the one I always wanted was a CTR2 993. Dallas always treated me really well and they basically got squeezed too hard by Ruf and decided to go independent and focus more on "whatever the customer wants" as opposed to "what Ruf wants". Things like that are a natural business cycle and as a dealer I can say that sometimes I get friction with my brands as well.
It was very unfortunate that Alois decided to trust the idiots in Southfield with his brand.

Beautiful RUF R
Although this R design is bullet proof IMO, I am pretty sure Alois will dispatch a factory tech (Christian is one of his wizards that I know) to sort any problems with this car.
I have bought numerous parts from RUF in Germany for my TT and they are top notch!
Hope they can get a set up working in N.A. Soon.

@Secretcollector
Here is a report of a German TV channel from yesterday. Some parts are about Alois Ruf - I think your car is in the background of the Ruf-Workshop...

Don't look on the rest of the report...;-)
