Default Any AMP Members?

All,

I'm thinking about a membership at Atlanta Motorsports Park. I'd love to exchange PMs (confidentially of course) with any members willing to give me their perspective on the facilities, how open track time is run, how much you use it, what you think of the track itself in comparison to other public options in the SE, etc. It looks awesome but it's a sizable "investment".

Thanks in advance.

There are a few members on here. Unfortunately it's too far away for me or I would join. If you think AMP is sizable you should look at what Monticello costs...

My wife and I each have a membership. AMP is run very well. The people are super nice on and off the track. I'd be happy to answer any PM's. For the record, I do not work for AMP, I'm just a member.

I'm a new AMP member and absolutely love it. It's pretty open to just go when you want, drive how long you want and rest how long you want. Told my wife there's just a certain level of freedom out there I can't explain... obviously safety is a huge priority but I don't feel like I have anyone looking over my shoulder or telling me what to do. It's my "happy place". The staff has been awesome and I feel the facilities in general are top notch. I'll PM you my cell number if you want to text or chat.

Im a member. Love it. Tons of track time, the people are fantastic and there are always interesting things going on there for members. It's really an awesome place to spend a day (or two).

Look at atlantamotorsportspark.com/calendar to see the track time available to members.

Happy to help as well. I've lost track of rennlist handles, but are you attending our smokies event in April?

Thanks Sean. I've had the opportunity to speak to both Hugh and Tony. Sounds like an amazing place. I'm visiting the last Friday of March. Guessing I'll love it and join but need to see it in person and get a tour of the track and facilities. I hope to meet all of you guys in person soon!

I am aware this is an older thread but didn't want to post a question that had already been asked.

For those members here, are any of you Tungsten?
Any opinions changed over the past year?
Do you also participate in other track days such as HPDE, Chin, or Just Track It?

Trying to determine if the right call is to invest in AMP since I can do car and bike or spend that money on track days through other orgs and have more diverse track experiences.

Appreciate any insight. Please feel free to Private Message if that's preferred.

Thank you.

While I am not a member, I have been out on AMP's main track a half dozen times or so. I've also karted a bunch, as well as toured some of the other additional facilities they're opening almost every year. It's all fantastic. I've considered joining, but for the amount of tracking I would do (maybe 6-8 times per year), it just doesn't make a lot of financial sense for me. But for someone who would use the facilities often enough, it's a sports car owner's dreamland.

Thank you. I have yet to experience the main track but have gone karting there.

Door to door I can be at AMP in 35 minutes. Road Atlanta is close to an hour and the drive sucks. So my thoughts are, on member days, I could setup and work, drive for a while, work, drive for a while, and so on. And I'm not into it to be competitive. More a safe place to push harder than the streets allow.
