OFFICIAL 991.2 GT3 RELEASE *Confirmed 500HP 4.0 & Manual option*

1. Make sure they are wife approved.
2. No heated seats on buckets. Yes, I know, who the hell needs heated seats. See point #1.
3. Bucket seats are very comfortable once you are actually seated (assuming you have the body type/size that fits in a bucket seat). Anyone who says getting in and out of them is easy, is not being honest or accurate.

I'm not sure she realizes what she's in for if I get a GT3. While I didn't exactly get approval, I HAVE already started to set expectations.
Lucky for me, she's familiar with the term "Because racecar".

Regarding buckets, I'd also say if one has other cars with bucket style seats then equipping this car with more conventional seats might make its functionality different and higher. In my case, the RS and the Spyder both have buckets so I'm thinking I may well go with *just* the conventional chairs so I have a fun car option when the GF inevitably says, "erg, I can't get out of the seats in that car in a dress/skirt/etc". IMO the 18-ways aren't an option because they weigh approximately 10,000lbs each.

Flame suit on:

3. Bucket seats are very comfortable once you are actually seated (assuming you have the body type/size that fits in a bucket seat). Anyone who says getting in and out of them is easy, is not being honest or accurate. So, if you plan on going to the dry cleaner or grocery store or ANYTHING other than the track which requires multiple ingress and egress, do not get bucket seats. Once again, who the hell cares about comfort and errands. See point #1
Flame away.

3rd: 8600
4th+: ~8400

So probably means something similar for the .2 manual - 9000 in 1st and 2nd and somewhere in between 9k and 8.5k for the rest of the gears?

FYI Porsche Bellevue has a large paint panel of Chalk/Crayon in their exclusive section. It's in the Panamera area, and the person I was with didn't even know it was Chalk, since it says "Crayon" on the info sticker.

How long would it take to swap between bucket and sofa seats?
Maybe they should offer driver bucket and passenger sofa (not serious).

Chalk was darker than I expected, which was a nice surprise. I'd still like to see it on a full car. I asked for a heads up whenever a Panamera comes through in that color.
If any color was an option, I'd choose Fashion Grey or Viper Green. So if no PTS, Chalk might be a winner for me--if I did't know any better, from online picture to seeing it in the flesh it looks like Fashion Grey. It actually makes me wonder how dark Fashion Grey is now, since I haven't seen it on a full car. The sales guy thought it was too boring. I mean, if you want to build a sleeper that also looks special when you focus on it, I'd go Chalk (and wing delete ). The 13 year old in me wants Viper Green and keep the wing.

That's what I did with an aftermarket seat, which can also be much more supportive and well-sized than the standard bucket, made to accommodate 90%+ of people.
It does not look as nice, though, but for a track car, who cares.
