OFFICIAL 991.2 GT3 RELEASE *Confirmed 500HP 4.0 & Manual option*

Awesome!
But, I'll be keeping my 2016 G. It already has black stickers on the wing. And it's a clock delete lightened version.
Can pick up an R engine lid, cover my LWB's in houndstooth, and put better looking stripes than the R on top. Put some Magnus Walker Outlaw stickers on the side and call it an Ã’le!, Outlaw limited edition.
And it doesn't have that heavy space-taking rollbar thing like the RS. ( Has anyone rolled one of these 991GT3's? Come on - it has 4-wheel steering and safety buttons! )
For me, right now, I haven't got enough of this 9K and PDK.
And I want lower lap times at Laguna and Thunderhill. Too much fun and too much going on already to add more to the equation.
But, i'd sure love to drive someone's MT on a Porsche track day, or any day!
Can't wait to hear AP's latest tiptoe advertisement.
991.2 GT3 4.0 MT or PDK, BadAss ride. Power to us Porsche nuts.

The most desirable GT3 of the 991 generation so far. Trumps the 911R which was the top dog. This new 4.0L must be indestructible. Very nice to bring back the manual one more time which was known for a while.

Has Porsche hamstrung this manual tranny?
.....to encourage people to buy PDK in the future??
I'm surprised there has been very little concern in this gleeful exchange that
-little if any weight savings with the manual transmission
-NO COST SAVINGS
-car is significantly slower
Could Porsche be saying, here is the car you demanded but its not near as good as the one we suggest?

Never bought a porsche before, but this just might be the one. I live in Denver. Anyone have any contacts at Porsche Colorado Springs, or the more local dealers? (Prestige, Stevinson). I DD an S6 so I'm familiar with Prestige, but I'd love to get a PTS allocation and I'm not sure any of the dealers but the CO SPGS dealer would have that allocation. Also, coming in totally fresh with no contacts and no prior ownership. I'm okay paying MSRP and want to load it up with options, but also don't want to be raked over the coals. Possible in this situation? I'm sure the manual option will make these popular, and I just want to know what kind of competition on the buy-side I'm looking at. Thanks a ton!

new car makes good sense to me
new car gives u new nose, rs powertrain but not its wide track width nor super aero, so rs still outperforms significantly on track
.1 owners who want stick car can now get one
folks who missed out on .1 or feared engine risk can buy a pdk .2 car
many folks will just buy to have the last na gt3
pag raises price for not much more car, minimal add'l development cost, earns extra margin on each unit
new manual car deliveries will drive around tiptoeing around 3rd gear for the first year LOL

Is it just me or does the redline look higher than 911R?
