A few more things...
1. Want to thank Burt at Merit Partners for his professionalism with the new car. Super helpful, great guy, car came as expected and he worked with me given my situation. If you are in the market or ever looking to sell those guys are absolute pros and a great buying experience.
2. Insurance numbers, happy to share once the check clears. Biggest surprise, salvage value and just how expensive these are to fix.. ... both of these helped to total.

Haven't been here in a minute:
1. did list the new one, tested the market, market is full of supply pulled the car. Going to keep it. Was going to maybe jump into something else, so going to get exhaust work done on it and roll bar install from BBI. Am going to sell my '16 spyder though, love it, just NEVER drive it.
2. Insurance:. Settlement was $250ish net of attorney fees. So as I stated happy that it hit the about replacement value of the car. Here is the breakdown:
1. Damage: $100K. Salvage $110K (yup big number). Diminished Value plug for
total payout. So my saving grace was the high salvage number and the fact that hot rod Aaron at BHR was seen tracking the thing around KC. We were prepared to go the negligence suite route and cracking the shop liability policy wide open (which would have allowed for damages). Expensive guy car cases aren't easy, but hot lapping a GT3 RS through kid heavy centers in town are easy. Also The ECU was cleared, so car would have NEVER been warranty able again anyway. That was another big kicker.
3. My diminished value guy was an animal as was my attorney. If you ever wreck something expensive like this: 1. Get a DMV guy. I used Billy Walkowiak at Collision Safety Services in NC. Guy is a beast, literally deals with this stuff everyday. Kept me sane and did a bang up job. My lawyer was awesome as well 997 GT3 RS owner so got the joke.
4. Ask away, can't remember if there were other questions. This board was amazing as stated I've tried to thank everyone that helped but if I didn't, thank you total group tackle.

STG that's our theory we sent the ECU imprint to Porsche NA. Clean as a whistle, my first thought was it was the Tune from Fabspeed but nope that wasn't it. That is our working theory. The other interesting fact of that is as I stated in an earlier post, these cars don't have black boxes per se. They do data log but not in a traditional black box way (someone smarter than I am on the topic will chime in). So, we already knew the airbag deployed (obviously) so what else could be on there? Don't know but again it was baby a$$ wiped clean.
