Yea, you are right about that, form follows function. Hard to argue with that.

.1 bumper has a more organic appearance to me, but the .2 is definitely more mean and aggressive. Both great.

Not feeling .2 at all. Maybe diff in person. Looks like a GT4.

My exact thoughts. I feel the curvy shapes on the .1 bumper suits the curvy nature of the historic shape of the 911. The .2 bumper has more straight lines thus not matching the shapes of the rest of the car. My initial thoughts prior to seeing the .2 in real life.

.2 is an improvement. Definitely more aggressive than the happy face of the .1

Like them both. The 991.2 front end appears more aggressive - more fitting for a sports car.

Re the GT4 - there is some family resemblance

That's the problem I have, the .2 front bumper looks too much like the GT4's. Oh well, I'll see it hopefully soon enough before I make my final opinion.

I always thought the GT4 had the best face of the family including GT3 but never loved the back. So I personally like the .2 GT3. But we're not here to buy the car for that face, but for that engine and, for many of us, that 6-speed.

.2 bumper looks more aggressive and much less fish-mouth than the GT4. Much prefer it over the GT4 bumper. IMO the new bumper looks like someone took the old bumper and added a little Lambo style to it. Looks a bit more modern than the .1.

I have the same thoughts. I love the front of my GT4 but prefer the rear of a 911. I wish the 991.2 GT3 didn't have the extra slits on the center opening section, it would look even better.

Same. The wide *** of a 911 is what makes me want a GT3. I do love the front end of my GT4 a lot though. I think the headlamp shape makes it a bit more aggressive.

+1. Won't be as noticeable of you get a dark color though.
