At the outset of there cars there were lots of threads regarding break in. One group argued for going by the book, another arguing that such was an old wives tale and that the car should be flogged right out of the dealers lot. AP clearly stated in RRV that break in is essential. I wonder if there is a correlation between break in and longevity/failure.

Drive the car to and from the track 200 mile round trip and have done 43 days on track. Almost no other street use. Using Mobil 1 0W-40.

Bronson is right. If you are limiting it to just GT3 seems you are good but it wasn't entirely clear since you also have some RS responses and can be interpreted as seeking RS responses too.

1. No Issues - Prior to engine F 03048
2. Overall mileage - 13,050 miles
3. Track mileage - Between 150-200 miles
4. Engine mods - None
September-October build with November 2014 delivery, model year 2015, engine F 0100x (that's early!).
Break in by the book. Uses almost no oil. Smokes occasionally on start. Tracked two days, driven hard on the road. No track book included with my manuals package.

I'm not sure what engine I have, but it is a 2015 GT3 built in December of 2014.
Approaching 9,000 miles, approximately 4,000 track miles.
No issues. I switched to Motul Xcess/Xclean after 1500 miles, have done oil changes at approximately 5,000 and 8,000 miles.
Car has been rock solid.
