Not a 991 so I apologize if this is off-topic, but I've been *really* loving my Boxster GTS with this weather we've been having in Denver. I picked it up from Porsche Colorado Springs a few weeks back and it's been an absolute joy. Spending a lot of time up on High Dr. and N. Turkey Creek out near Evergreen. Fantastic roads and rarely a car to be seen. Not the same can be said about the Deer
Outside of the RMR PCA, are there any other local cars and coffee / events I should check out? Moved out here last August so don't know that many people yet.
Congrats! Turkey Creek is a great drive from 285 up past the buffalo farm.
I think Colorado may be the perfect driving state. Look at these temps. Sure it gets cold, but you also get 50’s and 60’s during winter months, so you can always squeeze in a drive in-between cold spells. Add great mountain roads, plus not insane traffic, and I seriously think i am going to top 120k miles before the 10 year engine warranty is up. lol
That isn’t too bad! Is that the best driving road or do you have more?
Lee Canyon is even better and is still 1/2 hour from the strip and is about 7000 feet elevation too. When people think Las Vegas, they rarely think of roads like these. It's amazing what some elevation does to the scenery. Also plenty of opportunity to open up on the straight away on State road 160, which is the route from Las Vegas to Mt Charleston and Lee canyon.
