So hypothetically there is a GT3RS and a 911R on the lot, both are produced in sufficient quantity that they are available at MSRP.
If you are a track guy do you even consider the 911R?
If you are a manual, backroad fan, do you even consider the RS?
If you are a backroad PDKS guy, do you even consider the 911R?
Personally I'd have the RS even if it was $200k and the 911R was $175k.

Good post. The GT3, R & RS are different and one is not hugely better than the others - really the list price determined the value difference.

peak for this cycle was last july. prices for R will decline with market but remain at premium to other same-gen GT cars due plate.
time to cut bait if you're a seller. market is coming to buyers.
pristine 4.0 RS sitting since last october at 500: https://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-...-rs-4-0-a.html

They are all finally coming down. R is nice but I would much rather buy a nice condition 997.2gt3 for that purpose. Save a bunch a cash and drive a smaller car for canyons.

For sure, and I learned that selling a house a few months back in October. Had I held out the market dropped a month later ...........old saying take profit at the right time of the curve, and don't play the peak game as it could be painful.

I like wings to a certain extent, however, outside of a racing circuit, where the wing actually has a purpose, it seems to be purely attention seeking. Then again, you could say the same thing about a 911 in and of itself. And the green stripes on top of my newest 911, not attention seeking at all, perfectly reasonable. Different strokes, drive what you like, life is short!
