991 R will prices Tank?

There will be a wing delete. Was at the grand reopening of a local porsche dealer with some of the atlanta reps etc. Stated wing delete and MT of course. Not sure if they have to be ordered together or not.

What does that have to do with anything?
We are talking about numbered cars and how not every numbered car is considered valuable by collectors.
There are more differences than just 10hp in a GT3 vs RS. The boxster black exercise is more similar to a GTS exercise

Yes I currently have the .1 GT3 and truly love this car as well as the PDK S tranny. My original thoughts prior to getting it was very mixed, being I did not have a chance to test drive one and being I've only had MT Pcars in the past I was very concerned. Fast forward to now and after two years with this car I do truly enjoy the PDK S. As far as the wing goes, I don't think I could order the next .2 if it didn't have the wing, a GT3 without a wing is not a GT3 in my eyes. What I was getting at was I had thoughts of possibly going back to the MT since the next one would probably be my last, newly ordered Pcar, (getting close to retirement and will have other areas to spend my $$$). So the thoughts of, more than likely keeping it for the long haul, should I have the last possible MT/GT3/NA car or do I get the PDK S? No wing, then my decision is made for me, a PDK S.

Really like the look of the R without stripes.

911R prices will never "tank" remember the 89 speedster? prices will drop and then rise, its a special car, youve gotta hand it to Porsche, look at it as a market research and beta test subject, they were able to see if the MT is dead or not and road test the combo of MT and 4.0 motor using customers. The real question is this, what will happen to GT3 3.8 prices as it likely to hold the title of highest revving GT3 for a while

Good morning PORSCHE Fans.
Here's an article I just read this morning about the 2016 911R collectability. As many here would agree, 2016 911R probably will slow down in its "astronomical" pricing (three times the MSRP on average asking price).
It is a "Special Car" and will not TANK as it sets the tone for PAG to satisfy PORSCHE fans desire and appetite for manual and lightened materials.

So hypothetically there is a GT3RS and a 911R on the lot, both are produced in sufficient quantity that they are available at MSRP.
If you are a track guy do you even consider the 911R?
If you are a manual, backroad fan, do you even consider the RS?
If you are a backroad PDKS guy, do you even consider the 911R?
Personally I'd have the RS even if it was $200k and the 911R was $175k.
