I'm paraphrasing, but Frank conveyed the following in Austin: "For sure we will make the right choice and deliver the appropriate product to the GT model customers that will be engaging to drive."

I can assure you that the 992 - assuming it's called that - will have the following attributes vs. the 991:

Faster
More refined exterior aesthetic
More luxurious and technologically advanced/integrated interior (think 918 center console, new Panamera)
More efficient
More expensive

All we have to do is wait.
All good my friend.

Definitely agree those 3 are ugly.

The 992 definitely has design cues from both the 964 Flachbau aka Flatnose as well as the 959.

I have to say that the 991.1gt3 goes down as one the most beautiful 911s in all time.

Agree.

I also think it has the best looking wing on a modern day sports car. I hope 991.2 has only a few minor changes and nothing too drastic

Probably some new self driving radar thing they are testing. And obviously turbo, but more interested in hybrid tech that is possible to drive in electric mode in cities and then give extra boost when you need it.

From the 14th of Feb

'The trailer got caught by the wind and blew off to the ditch where it then crashed lying upside down,' our man with the long lens reports.

'Inside were two Porsche test cars, one of them a mule for the new Porsche 911 (the 992). Both cars are probably totalled, but the most important thing is that nobody got hurt.'
