OK long story short. Sold my beautiful black with red leather interior and Aero cup package several years ago. Was very sad to see the car go and was somewhat sentimentally attached to it.

The current owner, nice guy calls me out of the blue to ask questions about GT3s since he's interested in buying one. He knows im a Porsche nut. He tells me that he is going to sell my old GTS and offers me the car at $71,000. Car now has 34,000 miles. I sold it with approximately 17,000 miles.

He says car is perfect like when I sold it. Has had all services.

Do I need it? No. But would love to get it back.

Thoughts?

Don't know you but I get sentimental value.

I hope to never sell my first 911!!!

P.S red interior is special!

Why did you sell it initially?

If that reason is no longer extant, and money isn't an issue, then sure, why not. Buy it back.

I don't really get sentimental. But if you buy, how much will you get to enjoy it? If often enough to justify $71k, then sure!

I sold a '12 GTS with aero cup to get my 991 GT3.

I would buy mine back in a second if I could and have both. If you can comfortably afford it I'd say do it, you'd have two fantastic cars.

Go for it ;-)

Beautiful car. Great color combo that I haver rarely seen. I couldn't deal with those center lock hubs though.

Move on. You have plenty to keep you busy and I'm sure there'll be other better ones coming out. Get a Spyder or some form of convertible.

Sometimes cars are like girlfriends...you never forget them. Does that mean you want them back? Only you can decide. Car is beautiful though. Would enhance any garage.

Buy it back! GTS are very unique cars; not a GT car by any measure, but a great drivers car. I have a 991 GTS (first P-car) and will never, ever get rid of it. It is an absolute peach to drive around back roads.
