Premium seems a bit high but it's your money. No one on here is gonna say no don't do it. The RS is awesome.

Sometimes, you have to pay more than what's right or reasonable for something you really want. Just don't ever look back on or question the decision... just enjoy it, preferably with reckless abandon.

I agree...you are getting severely undervalued on your trade.

You can find an RS for <225k...so what is the yellow worth to you?

Is yellow faster around track than orange or white? 20k faster? 50k faster? 70k faster?

Find the cheapest RS u can. And wrap it.

Is Yellow really worth $50k more than UV, White, Silver, or LO? I say no way.

Huge premium. too much price difference. Have you driven an rs? if not, I'd suggest you do before spending soo much more on it

If your heart wants it and doesn't kill you financially then do it. I personally wouldn't want such a beautiful example to beat on at the track. I would go cheaper and use the extra dollars for tires etc.

This is coming from some one who would not buy a 997 RS 3.8 a few years ago as I thought it was too much money. Well it was certainly cheaper back then after what I just paid for one last weekend. Could not get it out of my head so I finally did it. I'm sure once it is in my garage I won't worry about the money I could have saved!! I've learned my lesson.

my two centivos

1. where and to whom you ask important questions will often determine the replies you receive

2. on their deathbed people rarely say they wish they saved more money

3. the value of money vs personal possessions vs living life at its fullest depends on how much money you have vs how much you value nice things and experiences vs how much time you think you have left to enjoy ...

4. it really sucks to run out of money before you run out of time... it also sucks to die with lots of money unspent, but that sucks less

if you want the ultimate track tool that pag makes that can still be driven on street the rs is it... speed yellow vs premium... your call

good luck and enjoy!

Tasman touched on this already, but are you thinking about this RS day and night/can't get sleep? If yes, then do it. If no, don't.

You work too hard- as long as you can swing it financially then f**k it.

What do you think?
Do you get the in-out on tax?

Not sure how Florida law works.
