Hey guys... any official news or updates on the 991 GT2 RS? I am eager to place a depo for one.

What part of the world are you in?

I was rather under the impression that the GT2RS would be the sort of car that you'd already need to have a deposit on or already been told in good faith that you'd get one if you had any hope of actually ordering one.

Yeah you might be a bit late to the party, I put my deposit down in June 2015 and there about 5 people behind me right now.

I don't think you can have an allocation for a car that doesn't exist. I expect he has a promise of an allocation.

has a corporate connection. He is in the hollywood auto industry supplying cars for movies. Has an allocation 100%. Also has a ford gt allocation. And got me an aston v12s 227k sticker for $120k last year. Huge connections in the business. Transports for many manufacturers. I see anything special not out yet under wraps in his building daily. No photos allowed obviously

So what's his confirmation #?

He has the promise of an allocation, when the car materializes.

Didnt do forensics on it. I seen an email that said a car is yours. Will probably see it months before its out also since he will be transporting it for porsche to any events if they have them

I suppose that's nice, but he doesn't have an allocation at this juncture.

Be sure to let us know when you see it "months" before the public reveal.

Allocations will be tight. Best of luck if you are trying to get your hands on one
