Great news. Probably a bunch of idiots who realized that this is not an easy car to make disappear unless it is going over seas.

So happy it worked out for you.

When ever I leave my home with my family for more than a couple days I always place another car outside my garage to block any one trying to steal and take my car. They would have to first remove that car to get the other one out of garage

A Camry or Accord, I agree, but with a high dollar exotic, absolutely not!

Wow Robert, I'm so glad to hear this! I'm glad that no damage was done, but take it to the dealer and make sure no overrevs were recorded or anything like that, actually, can you get overrevs on a PDK car? lol Still might want to have the dealer take a look at it and make sure no damage occurred that isn't immediately apparent. Congrats on getting it back though! Hopefully they caught the scumbags that did this. Please keep us updated as soon as you're able to. In the meantime, go enjoy her and get reacquainted!

Robert
Really glad to hear your car is found. That is a special Porsche.
Because it was lifted from your garage - Can't help but reason the perpetrator is very likely someone you know (of) - everyone reading this thread would love to hear the story when you're ready to tell it.
Good luck!

Same here, plus I have a lift so I throw the breaker for the outlet and disconnect & remove the power cord. Top car isn't leaving without a lot of work,

they are not putting many efforts in for making it more safe. look at all the ways how MB, BMW, Porsches, Ferraries can be stolen...

unfortunatly...

good news it was already found!

Glad the car was found hopefully it wasn't f-d with.

something weird in this whole thing. seems like joy riders. if these were pros it would be in a container 1/2 way to asia or middle east. they don't let cars be 'found'. I mean a probably 1 of a kind color? Not exactly SUBTLE. Even in LA.

stolen in BH
found in pasadena, about 30-45 mins down the road - pasadena is a nice town... and not where you find chop shops
and in fine condition - i'm guessing keys were left in it in the garage

So a couple idiots knew of the car, followed home, open garage, see car, keys in it, joyride the thing to pasadena, then bail.

A car like this isn't going to be driven across the border. the border lanes have about a dozen cameras each for this very reason.

If these were pros it would have been driven right into the back of a box truck, taken to the port, unloaded in a warehouse right into a container with a fake manifest and put right on a ship.

Bad news: they had good taste. Good news: you got the car back

Better than the alternative...
