Not built-in. But I have Viper Smart start in mine.

Dumb question. Is the car operational without the keys? Do the keys have extra security built in?

thanks for the concern from all, because of the ongoing police investigation cannot shed any light on how etc... at this moment but will at the appropriate time.

This is precisely why I refuse to configure keyless entry on any of my cars. They have been hacking into keyless entry cars in the UK for the last couple of years. It's just to damn risky. For me it's press the button on the fob and put key in the slot.

Agreed. I use a Faraday box now. They've hit our neighborhood a few times already. Got into my wife's Q7 once, but, unfortunately, they didn't steal it.

I have a third party tracking system on my RS. Haven't had to use it yet, but the company name is etched on the windows. It serves as an additional deterrent...

Awesome news, and hope the criminals were caught. Whenever you can please share some details since there have been so many cars stolen in West LA - it would be good to know how these scumbags operate. Enjoy.
