See below for the official video

The winner was the 911R (as has been known for sometime)

Sadly, the EVO crew seems to be breaking up and moving, at least in part, to drivtribe

I don't know if Bovington fell out of favor with the senior editor, but it seems he was no longer given the good motoring assignments the last 12-18 months at EVO. I always like his written and spoken word.
I expect Drivertribe came along at just the right time for him.

Jethro and Dickie left once before to create Drivers Republic, along with Chris Harris.

Good point.

Drivetribe has a lot more financial backing though and seems to be better executed. I think it could work. I'm checking in on it more than Jalopnik.

It's an odd position to be in with a foot in BMW camp and P camp. I guess I should not be surprised by the perception of this crowd. You do know that the RS LOST BIG TIME in the 2015 eCoty event right....read why it didn't win. And then read how the GTS did....same reasons. Both are insane experiences that stand out against a backdrop of Tesla-quick cars. Easy to be on the hate train. Love all cars, they are all something to experience. The ones that aim to really grab you by the ***** - some of us, not all, are the ones that really hang there. Just don't jump on the wagon, seek to get a smile.

Yup. And still lighter than the Jag, AMG, and Nissan, as fast as 458 Speciale at half the price, and it's American designed and made. A pretty good result IMO.
