New RS Deliveries-Who's still waiting
#286
Lol. Yeah, good point.
I don't understand how in this day and age there is ever a time that something is 'out of range'.
Though, I remember when I was 'tracking' my M5 across, there was a point where it was nowhere to be found. Which is crazy to me. I've been in IT for 18 years and the technologies do exist..
I must say, whenever I read your posts, I 'feel' better. Thank you.
AWESOME!!! Congrats bud!!
Phil - that position given (that you posted^) is from 1/5.
That's the last position given on the site (without subscription). I'd be very surprised if it's not fairly close to the U.S. coast since it's only a couple days from scheduled arrival, and I'd be even more surprised if it isn't a day or two early.
I've been checking daily waiting for it to come within range again. This was the same thing that happened with the GT4. Ship was "out of range" while in the middle of the ocean - and then the update was shortly before it arrived.
With a subscription you should be able to access a current (or more recent location) but it'll probably pop up tomorrow

And I totally agree - but it's probably their way of getting folks to pay for a subscription.
The crazy thing is my husband BOUGHT a subscription within the last year when we were tracking the GT4's progress. We can't find the info and he figures he trashed it - thinking he'd never need it again (LOL).
I strongly suspect the ship will surface in the next day or two, and all will be right with the world
