Sorry Alex. I was address different question. Indeed you are correct. In Europe the warranty for Porsche (and many other manufacturers) is only 2 years. After that point a factory approved extended warranty is possible to purchase separately (around 2K Euro pa). That extended warranty has more strict writing in it than even the warranty that comes with the car. It states that nothing must be changed on the car and they will inspect your car thoroughly including taking print outs from ECU before they will approve that warranty. However if you are smart and you have a reasonable dealer Im sure there is some latitude here. For example my G engine was replaced under this extended warranty and I had Sharkwerks bypass on the car. etc etc
