Curious why you went with another set of 20"/21" wheels vs 19", which would provide more tire choices. Did you decide that 19" weren't the best track setup?

Most of our client's didn't want to go with the 19" setup because of the brake change requirements.....but we have done several because of the obvious track setup advantage of running Hoosiers.

A lot of our client's love the Trofeo R but it was never offered in this size until now, so I will get a chance to run them at Laguna Seca during the PWC race weekend Oct 6-9 and it will be perfect timing because we have our new Motorsport long tube headers on my car and we can run without sound limits that weekend......this will be fun!

Our new headers come out in a few weeks and they have been modeled after the GT3R race car setup which runs the same 4.0 DFI motor....and they are magic on the GT3R to give us more torque.....this is what our client's have been waiting for!!

Has anyone gone to a 19/20 set on the RS with steel rotors?

I run 19 inches all around with Hoosier R7s on my 2016 RS. Forgeline wheels. No rubbing issues and clear iron rotors just fine.

Very interesting...which Forgelines? What size R7s are you running on those wheels? Do you have to turn off the stability/traction control?

We run a 19" setup on the RS with the steel rotor conversion using the Brembo setup in combination with the Forgeline wheels and 265/345 Hoosier R7's, by far the fastest setup on a street 991 GT3RS (Short of running a non DOT setup/slicks)
