It was either 'Green' (2D8) or 'Signal Green' (22S)
like my gt3. Owner was not around to find out for
sure.

Default The Quail

1967 911R & 2016 911R at The Quail

The 1967 911R is #17 currently in Ingram Collection (Road Scholars):

The 2016 911R is #007

**not** #17, but it is #003 !
(I think the Ingram Collection still do own both of these two.)

Thank you for the correction, GVA-SFO. Indeed I picked the
wrong 1967 911R from the Ingram Collection. The #017
has apparently been since sold by the Ingrams. This car was
owned formerly by Warren Eads, then Peter Kitchak, both of
whom I know personally.

So indeed the car in display is #003, currently in the Ingram
Collection:

Thanks Eduardo, and all others. Keep posting. This is a very useful thread.

Car week is #2 on my bucket list. #1 goes like this, Monaco Gran Prix late May, trains and car to Maranello, see the home of Ferrari, trains and cars to Germany, see Porsche and BMW factories and Museum, take the ring taxi, trains and car to Le mans mid-late June, see the 24 hour, fly home, die the next day a happy man. The ultimate one month in Europe.

Sorry I couldn't make. The flooding was devastating here in south Louisiana. I had a car show of sorts yesterday myself...totaled metal. Next year I'll be in Monterey & by then I'll be at full swing w/ cars again... Things happen for a reason - GT3 transmission recall grounded me last week from taking a nice road trip. I've been on the ground since Wednesday after checking on my friends working w/ ppl on getting their homes back together since I own a hardwood sawmill -flooring/ custom home biz. Had to let a few car ppl know I could help them in that area as well. Back to ground zero. Have fun today & take pictures plz! Cheers, Nick

How cold is it there? I see people with jeans and jackets. By the way, love the AMC Pacer.

Mid '60s mostly due to the persistent marine layer. ie fog/overcast. Fairly common Monterey peninsula summer weather. It actually made for a very pleasant day at Werks Reunion on Friday.....

Love the Monterey Peninsula, have only been there once though. We've been pushing high 80's, low 90's all summer. Thanks Mike!

Just load them to my MacBook Air & then
rely on my failing memory...Alzheimer is
working it's way slowly but surely!

It's getting so bad that I think there are
'Acid Green' 918 Spyders chasing me around
town. I know I must be imagining this...but
it seems to be a reoccurring dream!
