Is 991 GT3 rear wing angle adjustable? I could not find anything in user manual about it.
If so, what setup are you using on track?

Hi levd. Yes its adjustable to one position. I believe its mentioned in the track supplement. as per below You can increase the angle of the blade to increase down-force. The manual recommends the factory position for track work (as they recommend the stock camber and roll bar settings too, but many change these) but I believe there is scope to increase rear down-force by moving it....
Id be keen to know from others what effect this has as Im considering changing it myself for my next track outing...

I've always dropped the wings to max downforce on my GT cars and seen better times on the track as I can corner at higher speeds. You do loose some acceleration on the straights though.

F=0.5*V^2*S*Cy*qo
Then if you check Cy against angle of attack graph of any wing you will find out two things:
1. The wing makes just a few of kgs of downforce at the speeds you take most of turns
2. Changing angle of attack of that wing plus the speed at which you take most of turns at a racetrack would make it pointless. I believe we are talking here 2-4kgs change of downforce. Would you feel that change? If you would then you would also feel the influence of air density change

How do I know if my recently purchased 2014 991 GT3 rear wing is in stock configuration?

Bit of an old thread, but since I recently adjusted my wing I will answer. In the stock position the bottom of the wing has no gap to the risers. With the wing in the elevated position the underside has a small gap towards the back.
