I remember reading the following article a few months ago. Talk of Honda building a NSX type R forgoing the hybrid tech. Should make for a much more exciting version of the new NSX if its able to shed significant weight. Hopefully they build it.

Mine is suppose to be being built now too. As of Monday, Dealer expected mine in 3 weeks. Acura did a terrible job with communication with dealers and buyers with the process...

This car is gorgeous in red! So what was the word on the NSX in '94? I remember seeing only 1 at the shop and that was it, I stared at it for 10 minutes...

I'm not familiar with that world as I've never ordered a car, I have no idea what to expect.
I think we are in the same area, are you in Nova? Where do you buy it?

I wasn't given an ETA, I was told I'd start receiving be-weekly updates on the building process but I wasn't counting on it.

They never gave any updates even though they were suppose to. Originally they were suppose to give us an update from beginning to end. I have been hounding my salesman the last 2 weeks and he finally told me the 3 week time frame on Monday, but I'm not holding my breath. Yes, in NOVA, order from Radley. Pohanka has a white one with a nice $50k adjusted market value.

Honda should have made the HSV the current NSX, 550hp V10. too bad the **** economy scared them off. Honda as a company has lacked a pulse for a long time now. Their lackluster F1 engines also surprised, they used to be an engineering-led company, now it seems the bean counters are in charge.
