have roughly 9k total miles and over 3k track miles. after recently changing front pads, hearing a soft clanking noise from front suspension (drivers side). dealer has re-torqued all front and rear suspension parts, cleaned and re-lubed front strut mounts (to determine if it's a bad strut issue) and the noise continues. dealer is at a loss to figure out the problem, but says it should be safe and reliable for track use. they aren't completely giving up yet, but can't figure out the exact cause.

any thoughts and recommendations would be appreciated!

A friend had a failing strut on his 991 GT3. On the hoist you could detect the play in the front drivers wheel when you grabbed the tyre and gave it a big pull forward and back. I suspect your guys have tried this already but worth mentioning. It was replaced under warranty...

There is a noise from the near the front wheel when it comes.
This noise is "bu ~" while ringing and only at low speed.
