Default CXX options on 911R

Gents, I'm off to the factory end of August to configure the R

Would it be possible to keep a list of special CXX options that can be ordered for this model so I can get there with a basic spec already in mind?

The only one there is general consensus of availability at the moment seems to be the stripes and PORSCHE script on the side in any of the colors available on 3M's palette.

Anything else? Of course I'll try with CXX calipers given the evidence of Jo Kers' car...

Thanks for your help,
Max

what base spec do you have in mind barring the CXX options?

Very good question...at the moment it has been specced as a sleeper. GT Silver, side stripes with green lettering, black extended leather with pepita inserts. I'm still trying to get PTS but seems very unlikely I'll be allowed to have it.

I'd really like to put some very personal and distinctive touches with CXX

Side stripes with yellow lettering to match the calipers would be my choice, and with yellow seat belts.

That sounds gorgeous. Silver calipers would be nice on that build, let's see what the experts on CXX have to say.

I'm pretty sure you could try to do:

deviated stitching (restricted colour options)
steering wheel marker
seat belts
door pulls
decals (see note below)
PTS wheels (seems to be quite restricted)
custom illuminated door sills
leather bits here and there

BTW, the decals are said to come from the 3M line, but apparently from a particular product line that is not available outside of Europe (not a problem for maxt). So for those of you who live in the US, you will probably want to speak to Zuffenhausen directly regarding availability of colours and what they can do. FWIW, in the US, there are similar product lines with some overlap of colours, which may give you a good starting point.

I've heard rumours of different seat inserts, etc, but I believe the seats are very expensive to alter.

I've also heard rumours that quite a few CXX requests have been refused, although I don't know which ones or how far out these have been.

You might also take inspiration from JCBH's RS build:

Fuse covers with yellow stitching
Rear in leather (speaker surrounds have stitching)
Center console in rear (rear shelf got leather stitching and leather)
Visors in alcantara with yellow stitching
Steering column casing in leather
HVAC vents in leather with stitching
Inner sills in leather with stitching
Custom side decals
Custom center console with leather, alcantara, yellow stitching, Porsche Crest
Door Opening Loops in yellow
Extended dashboard with yellow stitching
Wheels in black
Deviated Stitching Interior Package, yellow
Vehicle key painted with leather pouch and yellow stitching
Doo Panel in leather/alcantara
Belt outlet in alcantara
Custom mats - with yellow stitching, black PORSCHE logo
Personalized Sills, in carbon, illuminated

think that is it?

I wonder if somebody will try to order a R as "basic" as the original R. By that, I mean a car with no carpet at all, just a bare metal interior with two seats.

I will order mine with the navigation but then will ask the dealer to remove it and put the waffa cake holder (copyright wtdoom ) in it...but a/c, I really can't live without!

Ya, AC is a must. All the other stuff is optional. I like the stripper builds myself.

I have heard of this being rejected. But don't let that stop you from trying.

Thanks, good starting point! The reason I specifically asked to go directly to the Exclusive Manufaktur to spec the car is the fact that it seems there are loads of CXX options available that dealers are not aware of...

The rims can be painted.
The insert and the seats leather color can be changed.

Max:

Here are some CXX options with pricing as of March 2016
which I am privy to:

The information came from 'Porsche Exclusive' in the US.

Good luck on your trip to Zuffenhausen in August. When
has PAG scheduled its 'closing' for summer vacations at
Zuffenhausen? Plan accordingly & enjoy your trip.

OK. I'll give it up.....Mirror lowers painted body color. PTS cars may already get this.
