Sgroer, sadly I think it's for real and if Marv takes my suggestion we will have proof soon enough. I'm just hoping we don't end up seeing it's really Nathaniel and Chase.

Marv, which P car is yours, "Sally Carrera" or the beautiful Yellow GT3?
The GT3.

Today is the second day I drove the car since I took off the plates. One cop passed me in the same direction of travel. I saw him in my rear view mirror, actually kind of nervous. He passed me by with no drama. No worries.

For 8 years I have been driving my toys around IL suburbs with no front plate and never pulled over. Now- I have heard if you spend a little more time downtown Chicago you I'll probably see some tickets.

But- rear plates are important to identify threats to all of us citizens. Just think "Amber Alert" and if you have children you understand why important police can quickly identify

So wouldn't it be easier to identify "yellow GT3, no plates"?

The Chicago cops are brutal. You'll get tickets not just parked on city streets but also at retail parking lots. Be careful. Last one I got was 3 years ago and $60 at Peets Coffee on North and Sheffield. That's an expen$ive latte.

Yeah MARV. The $200 ticket will make up for it.

Marv: have you given any thought to the problems that would ensue if everyone decided their car looked better with no plates and did as you?

But hey, now that you have decided your inconspicuous bright yellow GT3 with no plates is no issue with law enforcement I can see your natural and logical progression to toll running. What could go wrong?

Please report back. All eyes are on you Marv.

Meh, call me a quitter, but it started to become a bit of an encumbrance. Certain sticklers in the law enforcement community didn't agree with my attempts to exercise my personal liberties. I ended caving to the system of lemmings and I now plate all my cars.

How about front plates??

Please fill me in on the "woman dilemmas" you referenced in another post. Free advice here.
