Default First Real Road Trip - May 24 Long Weekend

With the holiday long weekend, good weather, and my 25th Anniversary intersecting, my wife and I decided to take the GT3 for a bit of a road trip. We drove from southern Ontario (London) on backroads through Muskoka and Algonguin Park to Ottawa for three days. 700 km trip each way, approximately. The car was absolutely fantastic. We got a lot of great looks and conversations everywhere we stopped. We startled a few sleepy drivers while overtaking. We killed a LOT of bugs.

Beautiful weekend in Ottawa, perfect for wandering around window shopping and checking out the sights / restaurants / bars.

I remain amazed at how roomy (lots of space for luggage), and incredibly comfortable and quiet the car is, until it stops being comfortable and quiet when pushed!

Well done. How does the princess like the car? Has she driven it?

Great fun! This gets me excited for my road trip in two weeks. I'm headed to Colorado for a conference, 800 miles each way.

Congrats! I drove mine 1100 miles home and was shocked at how comfortable the car was as well. Glad you guys had a blast.

25 years married, hell if that's your wife in the pic, she doesn't look much older than 25 herself.

Did you stay at the Four Seasons in Ottawa, or the Laurier, or elsewhere? Lovely area around which to drive. I am guessing it was too late for the tulips.
