This situation is peculiar since the rubbing is occurring even before it hits the street.

Porsche's explanation "the front well liners are deformed".
The front tires continue to 'shape' the replacement liners when I go closer to full lock.

On my July 2015 car, the rubbing has now completely stopped. I drive it mostly at Spa and had it at the front into the compression and generally at the outside rear. I do have some additional camber, but also rear ARB set to full stiff (front is medium). With 6000mls of which over half on track the suspension seems to have set enough for the rubbing to have stopped.

Just in case any of your are still dealing with this issue, there is a TI bulletin from Porsche to address it. If your dealer doesn't seem to know about it tell them it's TI Bulletin 28/16 Wheel Clearance for Race Track Use, Workshop Manual Instructions 4X00.

Yep, just had it done. At first I thought the car sat comically high and even the head mechanic thought it would not handle. But I did not have any issues and have driven the car at Portimao and the Ring without any rubbing.
only issue remains is the cording on the outside rear. Have to chuck the tyres after about 600km on track. Going to dial out the toe and see if that resolves it. Otherwise will try more extreme camber (now 2.1 on rear).

I have a 2015 GT3 and noticed some rubbing sound in the left front tire area while at an AMP track event on Monday. I wonder if that Bulletin applies to the GT3 as well as the GT3RS?

I run stiffer side to side shock adjustment with DCS box, full stiff rear bar and it helps a little, stiffer springs probably are better all the way around for many reasons and will help also.
As soon as I can find out spring rates of the new .2 GT3RS I will put that in. Maybe someone here knows?
Or of course put 19" wheels and all your problems go away and handling is way better (Nose drops a lot, more rake)

The spring rates have gone from 45Nm/120Nm to 100Nm/160Nm. Dampers are softer though on the .2.
