Yes...of course Racingutoo! Thanks for reminding me of
our conversation at Rennsport V at Laguna Seca! And your
gt3 is looking great too! How many miles do you have on it
already!

I am correcting my previous post to reflect your ownership.
We here at Rennlist dominated the ownership experience of
these specially late builds '15 PTS gt3s & we are pretty proud
to have helped so many find out about these PTS gt3s in this
fine forum!

'Signal Green', nor part of this late series of (supposedly)
30 PTS gt3s in these exact PTS colors - 'Signal Green',
'Arena Red Metallic' & 'Fashion Grey'.

That gt3 was brought to our attention back in early
February by one our 'Arena Red' gt3 owner! ..

https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...y-gt3s-65.html

And we explained it away rather quickly!

It is 'Green', a color hue with slightly more blue tint in the
formulation which was specially developed & introduced in
the 2007/2008 .1 997 gt3 RS. It is a beautiful color in its
own right & highly desirable. But you can see by the different
VIN # & color code that is simply not part of our special 'band
of brothers

Hey Eduardo,

Just hit 2000 miles over the weekend! Took delivery on 05/20/15

So I'm probably one of the high mileage ones out there (lol).

Updated with info provided by Racingutoo (# 9244) & George (#9250)

****

But if we start listing them now by Vin #, something peculiar is
detected. The sequence of Vin #'s we have suggest at least 14 PTS
'Signal Green' gt3's were built!

>>>VIN # ....Dealer...............State..........Owner

01) 9238......McKenna...............CA...........Unknown
02) 9239
03) 9240......Unknown...............NC...........Road Scholars (Kevin's)
04) 9241
05) 9242
06) 9243.......P of Beachwood.....OH...........Rennlister Z356 (Eduardo's)
07) 9244.......P of Beverly Hills....CA............Rennlister Racingutoo
08) 9245
09) 9246
10) 9247
11) 9248........Unknown..............................PCNA
12) 9249........P of Rancho Mirage..CA.........Rennlister Msmatt
13) 9250........P of San Diego.........CA........Rennlister George
14) 9251.........Stevinson...............CO.........Unknown

*

These are known 'Signal Green' gt3s in this series but not sure
YET of their Vin #:

1) 92**.........P of Bellevue............ WA........Unknown

2) 92**.........Momentum................TX........Rennlister EricHai

That leaves 4 Vin #'s unaccounted for!

***

I am contacting people I know at each of those dealerships,
and in on case a known owner, to see if I can get the Vin #s
of the Bellevue, San Diego & Momentum 'Signal Green' gt3s.
I will report back as soon as we track these numbers down.

(George responded that his 'Signal Green' gt3 from P of San
Diego has Vin # 9250
)

If any of you have any knowledge of other 'Signal Green' gt3's
that fall within these Vin # parameters, please pm or email me.

*****************

For the historical record, these are photos taken of some of
these 'Signal Green' gt3s when they arrived at their dealers.
Or, in the case of Road Scholars, when listed for re-sale!

Photos:

9238 McKenna (One of two whose original specs were changed to PCCB)

*
9240 Road Scholars

*
9243 Porsche of Beachwood

*
9244 Porsche of Beverly Hills

*
9248 PCNA

*
9249 Porsche of Rancho Mirage

*
9250 Porsche of San Diego (only buyer that asked & got 'Euro Delivery'
at Zuffenhausen). George picked his up in June of 2015, which made
it the last known delivery of these 'Signal Green' gt3s to a US client!

*
9251 Stevinson (only other one in the series with PCCB)

*
92** Momentum

*
92** Porsche of Bellevue

*****

The biggest questions regarding all of these late '15 PTS gt3
allocations to US dealers still remains unanswered!

1) Why were these PTS gt3's built when PAG announced a
moratorium on all PTS production for the balance of model
year 2015 in the fall of 2014?

2) Why were these three colors selected? And who specced
these cars? 'Porsche Exclusive' at PCNA & PAG insist they
were not consulted.

3) How were the US dealers chosen to received this 'gift'
allocation of a very valuable commodity - a PTS gt3!

We are still on the case...and will not 'rest' until we find
the answers to all of these questions. So stay tune.

I got an interesting pm from a credible Rennlister that
might shed some light as to the reason why these 30
(or so) PTS gt3s were built by Porsche as late MY2015.
I'll post the information soon...and it might tie in with
the credibility of the rumor we heard in this forum about
3rd party painting all PTS cars. So more 'fun' stuff to
come!

I am ready...but I need to get permission from my source to
post it publicly. That is one of the reasons I am trusted with
a constant stream of key information from third parties all the
time via private messages & emails ...because I don't reveal
anything I receive from a source unless I get their OK to make
it public. So I am also waiting patiently for that OK! It's all
time consuming...but that's how it needs to work so that I can
maintain a steady stream of relevant PTS information coming
my way from all markets, including US, Canada, Europe & the
Middle East.

Default P of Bellevue's 'Signal Green' gt3...

It's getting more interesting by the minute!

Here is the latest Vin # that has been identified with
one of the 'Signal Green' gt3s...and surprisingly it's
an even lower Vin # that expected...9237! That is
the Vin # of the 'Signal Green' gt3 allocated to P of
Bellevue in Washington State!

Here is the email I received from a source at that
dealership:

"Eduardo,

Nice to hear from you.

Here is the information on the vin# you requested:

Vin#: WPOAC2A96FS189237

Hope this helps,
"

****

Here is a photo of the car we posted on our thread
when it arrived at P of Bellevue:

****

Back in early March 2015, when I first heard about
the 30 or so PTS gt3s in three colors at the LA Lit
Meet, I search wide & far across the US dealer network
to identify as many of these allocations (none had been
yet built at that time!) as possible. The GM at Stevinson
(CO), who also received a 'Signal Green' gt3, pointed me
towards Bellevue as another lucky PTS recipient. And
here is the response I got from the GM of Bellevue after
my inquiry:

Schei, Kjell
3/19/15

to me
Eduardo
Thanks for checking in. Our Signal Green car is spoken for too.
:-( I wish we had 10 of them… I will keep your name incase
something happens…

Thanks Eduardo

Kjell D Schei

What I find surprising here is the Vin #!
Take a minute to study this latest updated
list with Vin #s:

>>>VIN # ....Dealer...............State..........Owner

01) 9237.......P of Bellevue.......WA...........Unknown
02) 9238.......McKenna.............CA............Unknown
03) 9239
04) 9240.......Unknown...............NC.........Road Scholars (Kevin's)
05) 9241
06) 9242
07) 9243.......P of Beachwood.....OH.........Rennlister Z356 (Eduardo's)
08) 9244.......P of Beverly Hills....CA.........Rennlister Racingutoo
09) 9245
10) 9246
11) 9247
12) 9248........Unknown...........................PCNA
13) 9249........P of Rancho Mirage..CA......Rennlister Msmatt
14) 9250........P of San Diego.........CA......Rennlister George
15) 9251........Stevinson.................CO.....Unknown

*

There is now only one known 'Signal Green' gt3s in this
series that remains unaccounted by Vin # (Momentum's).

But we might have at least six Vin #'s that are
not yet publicly identified in this (presumed) 'Signal
Green' Vin # series!

So assuming Momentum/EricHai is one of these Vin #,
we have five other Vin #'s to document!

1) Vin # 9239
2) Vin # 9241
3) Vin # 9242
4) Vin # 9245
5) Vin # 9246
6) Vin # 9247

And that is assuming Vin # 9236 & #9252 are not
'Signal Green' gt3s!

We need assistance in accounting for these Vin #s.
Hope someone in the know can post something that
sheds some light on these missing #s...or PM or email
me in private.

Eduardo

Eduardo, vins 245, 246, and 247 are black red and white so it doesn't look like they built them all in order.

OK...but:

A) Can you document your source for statement above & show us so that it can be confirmed?

B) Which Vin # is Momentum 'Signal Green' gt3 per your sources - 239, 241, 242?

C) What about other VIN # in list above?

D) What colors are Vin #9236 & #9252 per your sources?

Thank you Reuben!

Where is this information available - how did you & Loess get it?

And why isn't it available to both of you for the other Vin #'s - 239, 241, 242...and 236 & 252?

Great story.

I saw the car as well last year at Watkins Glen, parked in the front of the paddock area.

Digit number 9 is the checksum digit:
https://www.stuttcars.com/technical/vin-decoder/

You can either guess it or use this handy calculator:
http://www.alton-moore.net/vin_calculation.html

9237 doesn't appear in the system which potentially means it is a PCNA car just like 9248. You may want to double check with your source at Bellevue.

We can also conclude that 9252 is not Signal Green

You are right! Thank you for bringing it up to our attention
here at Rennlist. PCNA auctioned it off to their dealers &
