Probably about 3-4 inches. Keeps it from being stolen.

That is exactly why I started this thread. This car is so good that it is really hard to isolate just one great thing about it. I love the floor mats. The car cover. The white colored mini porsche key. The way you start the engine with your left hand. The noise the frunk makes when I open it. How do you pick just one thing?

This car is unreal.

Spot on my good friend!

Picking just one is just so hard.

But to add a new one to the list....This is my first true SPORTS car! Had a lot of American muscle, couple JDM's, German 'muscle' X5 5.0, M5, etc... But never a SPORTS car. I'm afraid now the Porsche bug has bitten me good! I'm fully infected and there's no antitode for this virus!

Too add a little color...it's been a long time dream of mine to get a 'road-race' /sportscar for the track and begin tracking, potentially moving to Club Racing in the future. Did the drag race thing and will likely build another 1/4 car one day, but only to ADD it to my new Porsche track-car stable!

It's the cockpit for me, the steering wheel, the lwbs, that dash with the different gauges that look so beautiful, along with the left hand side ignition (especially love turning the key rather than pushing a button to start), the gear selector, the stitching, the navi, the extra buttons for the lift, exhaust valve, and what not, really gives it that feel of getting your money's worth at the same time gives you the feeling you are in a sports car

It's almost impossible to name just one thing; there are so many great things about this car and most of them have already been listed.

One item that I haven't seen mentioned yet, and that I love about my GT3, are the PCCB's. They have amazing bite and an incredibly solid feel and never seem to run out of stopping power. I love that they don't dust or rust. And the giant rotors and yellow calipers look fantastic behind those beautiful 20" alloys. One of my favorite things about the car.....

And you cost me $7000 extra for the PCCBs on my GT4. I decided it was time to size them up for once and for all

Ditto on all the above, plus I love the alcantara steering wheel. Not something you find on most cars, and a nice tactile reminder that what you're driving is very special.

One word...Everything !!. I love everything about this car; it is a cohesive and comprehensive package; it is perfection personified . It is my dream car.

Now I need to go into my garage and have a quiet moment with her..

That comes closest to summing up my feelings, i.e. the dual personality of the GT3 - an exciting yet comfortable cruiser on the road. and a reliable but devastating track weapon when needed - which makes it, by far, the BEST car I've ever owned.

Nice car. And that's the cleanest garage I've ever seen.

Glad I could help!

I can't imagine you'd have any regrets, though....

Versatility. I think Porsche did a great job with the necessary compromises for road and track. That and the view of the rear walking up to it with key in hand.....
