The DMS headers has to be specially made for the Akra exhaust ?
I assume the headers doesn't work for the akra evolution system as it has no valves right ?

The headers have valves, works perfectly too with the OEM center exhaust. It's just my personal preference to use the Akra center. No drone at all! And of course way better power than any other headers out there... Tested almost all the leading brands.

Is the reason to go with a Akrapovic's center muffler is for the sound i'm assuming? I see AK's site lists their AK race race line catted system adds 27horsepower and 36lb/ft both at 3900rpms and maybe these are at crank figures versus dundon's (27hp) at wheel figures, are there any other differences between ak's race system vs dundon's headers? It seems more difficult than I anticipated to search for a Akra race system gains to show actual numbers gained on the RS. So if anyone can share some insight, greatly appreciated.
So I read a bit more and found out the said AK race system adds roughly 30hp, vs 40hp of dundon, so just rough estimating Akra race would gain about 25% less, 25hp gained on the dundon, so we are talking about within 10hp here... maybe my logic is incorrect...

Dundon Race adds 40whp for a GT3 and 25whp for an RS at 8200 rpm where you would want it!
The use of the akra center muffler was purely by the customer as they liked the look of it. It isn't necessary for the gains and isn't really necessary as the RS uses a Ti muffler from the factory...
